Reid’s Handmade Oatcakes are an essential part of the Mey Selections range. Donald Reid’s grandmother devised Reid’s original oatcake, with its unique toasted flavour, over 100 years ago. They have since become a firm favourite as an accompaniment for cheese or other savoury items such as smoked salmon or pate - or even with marmalade or jam.
The Mey Selections oatcake, a perfect partner for a savoury treat or just on its own as an uncomplicated low GI snack, is complemented by a handmade honey and oat biscuit, also produced by Reids.
This wonderful tasty biscuit uses only Mey Selections Heather Honey from beehives in the North Highlands to produce a honeysweet, wholesome biscuit. The natural ingredients include medium grade oats, sea salt, Demerara sugar and honey.
